I wonder if someone can help me please :)I have some problem with ZBrush and it drives me crazy.
When I wan’t to pan with ALT+mouse click (moving te object). For someone reason it seems to changing my keys and brush ?
I get the selection and mask brush and I’m not able to use some hotkeys as command-Z (ctrl-z) and or take a normal brush and I can’t rotate or pan anymore.
Hope someone can help me with this, I’m using a Mac and have trial of the Zbrush. Already reinstalled Zbrush and update to the latest version.

This part sounds odd. I can only toss out some ideas here. I assume you’re using Zbrush on a machine that meets the necessary specs.. Also, make sure you are aware of the actual navigation commands.
Have you done anything to change the hotkey assignments for the program, or done anything on the OS level to change the function of certain modifier keys? Shift, Alt and Ctrl are all hard coded to navigation and brush functions, and cannot be changed. Likewise, any OS function that causes modifer keys to become sticky (permanently on) will change the functions in Zbrush.
Are you using a mouse or a tablet? If both are available, is the behavior different for either?
Also, what else are you running at the same time as the program? I notice from your video you have some sort of overlay running. It’s possible this could be conflicting with Zbrush.
This part sounds like maybe you need to read this section on edit mode. A tool must be in edit mode to rotate, pan, scale, and edit is as a 3d object.
If nothing here addresses your issue, you will probably need to contact Support.
Thank you very much I read your comment and started Zbrush to figure it out… and for some reason it doesn’t do anymore what it did (happily )

To still give your some answers if you like to know (also its for some reason already fixed now…):
It wasn’t me, I have/had Zbrush on school. But with the corona I have to work from home so I downloaded the trial. because from Anydesk or teamviewer it doesn’t work that wel.
Not a pro at all, really still more a beginner, but I’m pretty familiar already with the move tools ect. Also it was in edit when I tried to rotate.
And yes both mouse and tablet gave me the same result.
I was running Houdini FX as well I think. But I also had this closed and restarted my computer to test it again. I think the program that you see as overlaying is maybe the “home” button were I press on. Cause I did this to reset the “Bug” (if it was a bug but just to give it a name).
So I was able to move again but few seconds later this home screen thing pop’s up so I think u saw that ?
