Pixols and Pixels .. when texturing and using projection master..

Hi,
I read another thread regarding Pixols and Pixels, how to align the two so textures come out looking good when using projection master. The thread was titled “Precision Texturing” but it was from 2005 and likely dated. It was kinda confusion too. I’m assuming the technique described applies also when trying to insert a 3d mesh using Projection Master onto another object. http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthread.php?27680-Precision-Texturing-Part-2

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if it still applies, point me to resources that explain it better, perhaps there is an easier way to do it since 2005?

If you want to insert on mesh into another then you can use the Insert Mesh brush which will produce a much better result than Projection Master.

thanks ^^ Do you know how I could get the mesh I created to wrap/conform on the surface I’m applying it to using the InsertMesh brushes? It seems to work with the meshes that comes with Zbrush but they don’t when I use my custom mesh.

In the Stroke > Curve palette, turn on Curve mode, and bend and snap… and adjust settings.

If that’s not working, post some screenshots of the problem.
