Ok, i’m trying to buy plane tickets but San Francisco has 2 airports. I need to know which one I want to arrive at.
edit: wait, i posted too soon, i see that there’s really only 1 airport there now. ok, back to buying tickets.
so, I bought plane tickets, i’ll be definately be there:D…my only problem is that my return flight back to Chicago leaves at 6:15am. So if the event ends at around 11pm then i’m pretty much homeless and stuck with nothing to do for roughly 6-7 hours of the night in a city i’ve never been to… anyone have any suggestions?

I am Hari from dallas, Texas. I am a newbie to Zbrush. This truly is a great event and I dont think anyone wants to miss it. I just got permission from my boss and I will be in san francisco this entire weekend. This is my first time in San Francisco and I would really like to meet other Zbrush lovers during that period. Please let me know if you guys have any such plans of getting together.

The event should end around 11pm +/- 1 hour.
I registered on 12/20, and the email I received stated that I’d get final confirmation within 24-48 hours. I don’t think I ever got that. So, unless my Outlook email moved the confirmation to SPAM by accident, I don’t even know if I’m really registered or not.
Since Final Call is being posted and seats are still available, should I re-register?
We’re resending your confirmation to you. It’s very possible that spam-blocker filters or something similar prevented delivery.
The same thing happened with me. I have registered twice. Both the times I got an email saying that I will get a confirmation within 24-48 hours. I have not recieved anything .

Can anyone help me plot out how I can get from the SFO airport to the terra on San Francisco’s public transport?

Newbie here, but as a SF resident, I’d be remiss in not telling you one way to get to downtown from SFO airport. Your best bet is probably to take BART if we’re talking public transportation. It’s fast easy and clean. It’ll probably cost you only $4.95 from what I can tell too. Check out www.bart.gov for exact times and for the system map. Embarcadero might be the best place to disembark as it’s closest to Harrison from what I can see. It’ll plop you out onto Market Street and from there you’ll have a couple of blocks to go till Harrison. I do hope this helps.
In other news, I’m actually in Kuala Lumpur right now on my way to Hong Kong so I won’t be able to make the meeting sadly. If you happen to find out any more details concerning event coverage or the like, would you let me know? I haven’t even touched the program yet but have been watching its progress very closely.

Will at Pixologic emailed me about my registration (based on the issue I mentioned a few posts above about not getting the confirmation email), so last Thursday I resent the email registration info he asked for.
I still haven’t heard anything. Can I just show up? I guess it’s good that I didn’t need plane tickets or anything or I’d be upset. It would suck that I registered the first available day in DEC (and re-registered last week just in case of a screwup) and still couldn’t get in…In fact there are 3 people at my company who I know of who registered who got the initial registration email but never got the confirmation email.
I’m also still waiting for my confirmation, having checked all my spam filters repeatedly to make sure it didn’t get lost that way. I just contacted support about it, though, hopefully I’ll hear something back soon.
ArtisanCG, I have spoken with the person processing the registrations, and four separate emails have been sent to you since you first registered. I don’t know why you have never received them, but you are confirmed, and your name is on the list that will be at the door. There is nothing to worry about.
We have had several cases where confirmation emails have been unable to be sent for one reason or other. Anyone who registered through the website IS confirmed, even if we have been unable to reach you with the final email. Give your name at the door, and you will be admitted.
