Pixologic Release: Transpose Master (Mac version now available)

Paladin69,

Can you mask OK using the Lasso? Avoid using Topological masking which won’t work well with TPose meshes. The crashing may be caused by overlapping polys (as resulting from making a single mesh). 92,000 polys should be OK.

Yeah Topology masking crashes every time.

The lasso seems to work better but blurring the mask will crash.

Hello there.
I can’t make Traspose Master work. It creates a “unified” object but when I move a part of this, the subtools parts doesn’t move.

I don’t know why it doesn’t work but I pointed that you say “trasposemaster must be in the program files folder”. I’m spanish and program files folder’s name is “Archivos de Programa” y should put trasposemaster on it or should I create a “Program Files/Pixologic/Zbrush” folder and put transpose master into it to make it work?

Thanks

MAN9A,

Apologies for the delay in replying.

If the Transpose Master buttons are in the ZPlugin palette then you probably have it installed correctly. Can you show a screen shot of the problem you are having - I’m not sure what it is you are doing. The plugin makes a single mesh which you pose. When done you need to press the TPose>SubT button to transfer the pose to your subtool model.

I’m having the exact same problem with the exact same system setup. Any solutions found yet?

And the ALT-Click Tpose->SubT button (to load a saved tpose mesh) doesn’t work - it just works as if I never had ALT held down. (but saving a tpose mesh with the ALT-Click works fine).

RockinAkin,

Apologies for the delay in replying.

The masking-crash issue is most likely because you mesh has some overlapping polys.

Don’t ALT-click the buttons. (Holding down ALT and mousing over the button gives extended info about the button.) To load a TPose Mesh from disk, just make sure you have a mesh with subtools selected then press the TPose>SubT button.

is subtool master a newer version of transpose master? I have installed subtool master, but it can do everything that transpose master can, or?

Joyster

Joyster,
They are two different plugins but complementary. Transpose Master is for posing a mesh that has multiple subtools. SubTool Master is for various subtool operations such as merging, duplicating, filling with color, appending from disk and so on.

Thanks a lot!

I have (finally) ZB3.12 on my Mac! But I have a problem!
There are not plug-in or script for my ZB!!!

Someone have good news for me? :frowning:

As ZBrush 3.12 for Mac is an interim release and has new features from the PC version, plugins and scripts need updating. Look out for announcements as they become available.

Thanks, but where I’ve to look out? My account is registered on pixologic mailing list but I never have seen mail

Here at ZBC. Any updated plugins will be sticky threads at the top of the ZScript Utilities forum.

Thanks a lot

I’ve been having this problem with a lot of ztools
using Transpose Master(latest update,+xp64 ).
The problem being that some subtools would be brought back at level 1 with the higher subdivisions deleted or even sometimes some subtools wouldn’t be brought back at all.

I’ve read all the posts in this thread and nobody seemed to be having this problem. It was rather troublesome and instead of asking for help I just stopped using transpose master at all.
But lately I found the solution.
It seems that having my number of tool undos set to 1 in the mem preferences was the source of the problem.I’ve setted it back to 4 and I’m not having this problem anymore.

Weird
