Pixologic Presents: Action Hero Contest

I am not sure if I am disqualified or not.
Aurick could you please check my thread “Rhinocerontas” because I am not sure if I have managed to update it on time.
You will find my explanation there as well.

You’re fine. If you’d been disqualified, the thread would be gone and you would have received an email.

thx for replay

Final Submission Instructions are Posted
We’re now two weeks away from the final deadline for entries. The final guidelines for submissions (including how Mac users can post your movies) are available here.

Good luck to all!

Hi Aurick

My Transpose movie is not 5 minutes long , Is that fine ?

good!!!

The rules require five to ten minutes. You can submit more than one showing different parts of the process, so long as they total at least five minutes.

The contest is now closed, and the Action Hero forum can no longer be posted in.

Panelist Judging has now begun, and will run for one week. Watch for the ten finalists to be announced on Saturday, February 21. At that point we will be opening judging up to the entire ZBC community to choose the winners.

We at Pixologic would like to thank EVERYONE who participated, whether you finished your entry or not. The great sense of community that we’ve seen is what makes ZBrushCentral such a special place.

And of course, good luck to all who are still in the running!

 I was a split second from getting my stuff in on time with a min to spare. I was just about to hit the submit button when it all got shut down. LoL I tried if You Tube hadn’t froze and I hadn’t had to refresh to get my code for the turntable I would of had it. oh well not complaining, really I am not cause I know you guys stressed late is too late.

I was just wondering since more than likely I am not considered as a finalist since I didn’t get it in can I still post pics of my model on my own thread (not in this forum of course) and continue with her. I.e.: My sketch book thread or another forum or thread I create. Thanks for your time in which I know you have so little.

The Ten Finalists are Revealed!
Our judging panel has determined the finalists for the contest, and we’re now opening it up to community voting. You can see the finalists and vote for your favorite here. Voting will close on Saturday, February 28.

Good luck to all!

Congratulations to the finalists!

You´re already winners! I´m sure all of you´ll get admired by the ZBC community for your fantastic work!
Each model is completely different - in an amazing way!
Good luck!
And to all of you: It´s been a pleasure to meet so many kind people and to watch all the entries from the beginning til the end!
I learned a lot and I had a lot of fun!
Many thanks! You´re great!
Cheers!

I wanted the duck to make it…

where is the “NON OF THE ABOVE” button…lol

there are some good entries up there, but also some that are missing, as usual by these contests, i’m confused. also too much of the same.
almost agree with ministerart

Why can’t I vote?

I do admire some of the entries in this comp but please…pixologic…lets get more creative next time round and not have such a long and drawn out insipid contest. There are so many other things that could be set as challenges other than (yawn) stuper heroes.

One thing I would like to see more than any competition IS THE PROMISED LAST QUARTER OF 2008 UPDATE!!!..as “ahem” promised.

Just wanted to add my voice to those congratulating all of the finalists! They all came out looking pretty darn good imo, and I can’t wait to see who ends up claiming the title!

Also, thanks to Pixo for the good time! Looking forward to the next go-round (where I’ll hopefully budget my time better lol)!

looks great.

good

look like very cool
