Dude, that’s almost a year from now.
Umm 6 october was only a few days ago… where is the zap link 
Hehe funny to see how impatient almost everybody are 
but as someone from the team said when it’s done soon then they’ll post it. So i guess time will tell, shouldn’t be long now. And as always it’s better to have something that actually works but which ships later than planned than something that ain’t working but which is delivered on time as planned.

After a week I finaly see more with my right eye. O.K., before Xmas I like to have it all, but I am a @#%Mac user… (BTW, nice computer) But the 6 of October seems to grow out like 11 september. I just wait for the best

Hahah yeah me too. Its so frustrating bringing a model into maya and having it look like a deformed dwarf due to modelling it in orthographic in ZB.
Always. But my grass has weeds too, so I excluded that from my comparison.
The irony here is that I’m tryin’ to model deformed dwarves! Some of us aspire to that, y’know. :lol:

A friend just upgraded to one of those. No idea what he paid, but I got his old PC for $200. If you can find someone who’s always on the cutting edge like that, the generation behind them is not a bad place to be.
Ctrl-Z, that’s no big money. Yes, sometimes I am thinking about to buy a windows machine, just for all the software what is not running on a Mac. But working for about 20 years on a Mac it is hard to switch.
I intend to buy zbrush. When I found out of 2.5 release I thought I would wait. I want to buy the box set. Does anyone know if they plan to offer an updated box set for 2.5 on the date it is released?

gottsbett, can’t answer your question but I would get 2.0 now if I were you…you are gonna wanna learn how it works as it is a bit different than other apps and 2.5 will then be free to you. You would probably end up paying more the other way and waiting awhile cuz they ain’t gonna put it out til they are happy with it…so play and learn now so learning curve will be shorter come it’s release.
They wont release that kind of information beforehand. It’s like their curse to us. :o

That’s the goal, anyway, but everything’s taking longer to get right than anticipated, so I wouldn’t hold my breath, and I wouldn’t hold it against Pixologic if one release pushes the next one back.
They’re not going to rush out an incomplete product just to meet deadline. And that’s a good thing.
