Quick Fiberbirdy FiberFeather used with MicroMesh.
Great image and I love the surrealness of it!
Is this rendered out of Zbrush?
Yes rendered with ZB with a kind of toonshader and a bit Photoshop (small feathers on the head).
Next time I try the fiber-uv with an image of a feather, more quick I think.
A watercolor study!
It doesn’t look like a 3d render, in fact, it’s unbelievable. Wonderful sketch - drawing. IMO, this goes to the top row for many many reasons.
About feathers, please explain, how to use transparency?
@Michalis An image with a 100% black background. Menu>Texture>push the ‘transparent button’ (first one).
Make fibers > accept > UV > Fiber UV.
btw, the feather I used was 3d with MicroMesh. I used a 5 sided-Sphereinder and made a group of the sides. Added fibers there and merged it.
nice bird you have…wait thats not right :o
haha, great test, truly, your dog rider back there is brilliant too. I really love your style, truly

May I thank you for the medicinal gift of laughter administered with such panache.
LOL … Cool!
Very well done!
Lol! Great work! I’ve seen this “mistake” before though. Originally made by a Japanese Manga artist named Hiroshi Kurogane back in '76, I guess.
Cheers!
Hey Thanks for your reply. It was fun to make it.
Curious to see that picture of Heroshi, I hope you can find it.
Here are some clay renders of Napolygon.

awesome Bas !!! more !!!
wow, bas, wonderful portrait, and funny characterization of a manierism… most of all i really like how you captured the character.
i was curious too, to see the earlier version of heroshe, so i searched via google, but have not found it,
i found however a charicature, using the same idea (here), but its the only one i found showing this idea
I’m sure I have it in a book somewhere. When I have some time, I’ll dig for it and make a scan to post here.
The clay-shaded version looks great, btw.
Cheers!
