love it my friend!
Thanks!
Hey Mario, good to hear from you! Greetings to your family!
While playing with a head a kind of sea creature came out. Maybe I will texture it and make more details.
Hey Bas Mazur very inspirational work! Youâre really letting your imagination loose on this thread.
Keep it up!
Great feel, another brilliant illustration Bas.
d_thumb, maxinkuk, thanks for the reply.
ZBrush is like a beach full of sand, be child and sculpt.
I have C4D and Vray, but how many stupid things we have to do and to know, to make a nice looking render. Middle Ages⊠We should buy software that join our creativity but not creating a problem. Bugs here, slider there, uncheck this and tune thatâŠaaaaaarrrrrrghhhh. Thatâs why I love ZB, just keep the speed!
Some software looks like a pencil because they sold it like a pencil. Sheeps buy it and believe they bought a pencil. When the damn thing is slipping away from the fingers like soap, itâs not a pencil anymore. The answer: put some glue and sand on your fingers and slider this, uncheck that, kill your grandmother and jump from the bridge.
I WANT ZBrush 5 AND 6
Quote:âThe image looks a bit like etching, aaaargh, I must have an etching press again! Dry needle scratching into the metal and the smell of ink.â
I saw the image, and an etching was the first thing that came to my mind; better even; it looked like you mixed severeal etching techniques: aquatint/lavis, needle and drypoint! Dang Pixologic should team up with Dimension or so and develop 2.5D printing for stuff like this! Beautiful image Baz (btw I havenât used my etching press for 3 years now⊠thanks to ZBrushâŠ)
Sea creature looks fine so far - hopefully youâll texture it
âŠand funny art !
Happy new year of Z painting!
@Geert_Etcher_Melis, about etching I can talk for days:-) The beauty of mixing the drypoint with all the other techniques.
Pilou, thanks!!
Made some details and changes on this thing.
Todayâs head
Love it.
Ezra, glad you like it.
Here is another quick sculpt. The sculpt is realy rough but the shader and the work in 2.5D makes the fun. Background from PhS.
Same model, other shader and just a bit PhShop
Time for a textured head with bpr render. Itâs not ready yet, I will pick it up later.
