Pixelating textures

Hi all,

I’ve read the tutorial on precision texturing, and was just wondering there has to be an easier way to find out if pixels match pixols in zbrush, beacuse everytime I texture it just comes out pixelated, zbrush is an advanced program theres gotta be a way, especially now with zaaplink?
Or if anyone else has a way tp texture that works, remebering that I have to export the texture map to render in max, and not to render in zbrush!

Sonder!!

Any program that uses texture projection will require you to get a feel for the correct UV to texture size. In addition you should also get a feel for the correct document to polygon size. The RGB pixols drawn on the document are projected to each polygon with Projection Master, so ensuring the on screen polygon is large enough and the UV data is large enough, you should be able to transfer the drawn detail to your texture.

If in doubt, or you are not getting the results you want, try increasing the document size. If that does not help you, you may need to reconsider your UV layout.

I think your right, I can’t seem to get the ratio between the scale size if the model and the texture size I’m using.
But I’ll give it a go,
Thx again, I guess I’ll be back if I have any problems.

This tutorial will help you out a lot, too.
