Pixelated Texture from new from pollypaint..

Hi i’ve been facing this problem recently…
when i do texture from polypaint… the texture come out a bit blurry and pixalated…

I tried UV mapping again but the result remained the same, i’m attaching the file… please have a long and help !

Your mesh is more dense than your UVs can support.
What size map are you using?
How much space does the face take up?
How dense is the face?

Side note:
Might want to look into this

about 4 million :)…
how do i increase the size of of map so it can handle the polycounts… i used 4k map…

4 million is the total mesh or just the face?
How many is your face?

Each vert = 1 pixel (or you can think of it that way)

If your face is 1 million points and is using 100% of your UVs then you need a 1k map to support the texture detail of the face. 4million =2k, 16million = 4k, etc.

What does the UV layout look like? A 4K map can be ample, but it would go to waste if the UVs aren’t as efficient as they could be. Do you get similar results if you try baking the polypaint in a program like xnormal?
