Pixelated Models

Hi, I am very new to zbrush, so sorry if this is a noobish question…

I have imported an obj file from max into zbrush and subdivided it to about 4m polys, when I try to sculpt it, the model is very pixelated and I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I have attached a picture to illustrate the problem.

You’re zooming the document rather than scaling the model within the document.

The top four buttons on the right shelf have to do with the document. It’s like zooming a picture in Photoshop.

The lower buttons on the right shelf have to do with the model. They only become available when a model is in edit mode, and using them affects only the current model. Scaling the model will enlarge it on the canvas without pixelation.
