pixelated map

hello there!

I have some trouble with one of my subtool, here’s what I have when i exported its normal map:

it’s the same for the poly paint map, disp map, ect…
I even paint it in Mari and it ends up the same problem…

help :confused:

You unwrapped it in Max, yes?

Did you use goZ to transfer to and from Zbrush to Max?

Yes and yes :slight_smile:

I solved the problem by using UV master but still, if it happened on a mesh I had textured on another software that would be IMPOSSIBLE to UV master to help me. So if it happens again, what should i do?

If you’re using goZ to transfer to and from applications this shouldn’t happen.

You should run some tests on a cube/sphere and see where you have the problem in your workflow.
