Presenting my latest 3D project: A Low Poly real-time character model of Hedy Lamarr reimagined as a pirate! This was an exciting challenge where I aimed to capture her elegance while giving her a fierce pirate edge. The sculpting was completed in ZBrush, with texturing done in Substance Painter. I unwrapped the UVs using RizomUV and created the clothing in Marvelous Designer, which I further refined in ZBrush for that perfect fit and flow. This was my second attempt recreating Hedy Lamarr. This time I was satisfied with the likeness.
The hair was particularly challenging, as it was my first time using hair cards. I used GS Curve to place the hair cards. The character was rendered using Marmoset Toolbag.
While the hair didn’t turn out as perfectly as I’d hoped, I learned a lot from the process and am satisfied with the overall result. Looking forward to refining this technique in future projects!
