Hi - I am trying to work my way through the Sea Lab tutorial in Eric Keller’s book Introducing ZBrush (written for v3). The tutorial has you create shapes/tools to match a background sketch. I create a cylinder3D object, use the gyro to move/scale/rotate it, and then apply perspective w/ a value of 70. Well, when I move my cylinder tool in the Z Axis, I cannot seem to get the transform to stay at 3600 - which is what is recommended in the tutorial. Additionally, when I apply perspective (at the recommended value of 70) the object shoots off to the left and gets larger. I just cannot figure out what I am missing here and cannot seem to find a detailed enough explanation of how all of these controls interact with each other. Any help would be greatly appreciated and may keep me from slitting my wrists over this frustration. Thank you in advance and I really hope that somebody can/will save me from this insanity lol
Kind Regards - Mike
