Performance problem

I am creating one figure that I would like to print (3D print), and now I have about 62 million total points count, and I am unable to work with whole figure, because Zbrush performance is very low. So until waiting for 64 bit version, is there something that could be done? As I see it, over 50 milion active points in Zbrush is really a problem!

Why do you need so many points? What are the physical dimension size that you are planning on printing?

Most likely you won’t get any smaller than 16 microns on your 3d print. Is the 64 million in one tool or multiple subtools added together? You’re probably doing it overkill on the points. You also have to realize that the printer can only handle so many points, which means you’ll need to decimate your model anyways.

Most of my prints are around 4 million in Zbrush but then decimated down to 750k before print.
