Perfect equidistant hair distribution?

Hello,
Is it possible to have all the hairs equidistant form each other. I am asking that, because I export the hairs to maya for simulation, and if the roots are too close, the simulation could go wrong, because they are inside each other radius of collision.
I have turned the maxfibers per mask and area to zero, but the hairs are still a distributed randomly i think
Thanks

Most things depend on vertex count. Are you exporting curves? I don’t have MAYA and don’t know what options you have to distribute objects in there.

I don´t export the curves beacause it doesn´t do anything.when I do “export curves” the .obj created is empty. So what I do is I export the fiber mesh and then in maya convert the mesh to curves with a plugin.

But back to the main problem, forget about maya, it is not the issue. The thing is that in zbrush, I would like to have all the hairs equidistant,so when I export the mesh, it is already perfect in maya.
