Like others, I’ve been inspired by an learned from many posts I’ve seen here but I’ve never posted myself.
SO, here goes…
I recently finished a Pepe LePew sculpt I think worked out well. Here’s a shot of where I ended up, along with some attachments for showing details and WIP:

Have you tried fibermesh? Not too much just enough to give the fur its own look. Not sure if it would look better than what you have or not. I was just curious.
You know, I did try using some FiberMesh but I felt like it lost some of its cartoony-ness.
I ended up going with sculpted clumps instead using the snake hook brush.
