Bit of an update… spent more time than I wanted to but when it demands to be pushed further, you can’t really argue

You are amazing!!! I love the Super Mario!!! do you have a website?

Yes I’m great, I did all the pictures in this thread, that’s how versatile I am…

… ok, maybe someone should point out that there’s a whole bunch of artists posting on this thread!

Here’s another doodle by someone, no wait, by me…
Playing with soft pastel colours; the face kinda reminds me of something I’ve seen way back when though I can’t for the life of me place it…anywho

Diggin that concept RS, good stuff.:+1:

Wow, great new paintings everybody!

Eeeep! Starting to feel like I’m creating my own gallery here now… sorry :o
Here’s another doodle I’m afraid, although on the plus side, am beginning to enjoy the discipline of bugger all layers
Started out as a nice disproportionate Egon Schiele kind of a sketch, but once I took it somewhere i’m no longer sure that big hands and legs thing works…
Still…

Great new painting. Really cool gallery you have here.
May I ask you how you did the spots/blots (hope you know what I mean :)) in the background?

Fantastic new image Raw!

Thanks guys

Hey Moni-Poroni, i just used an old texture photo i’d taken down at a gun range as a very translucent base layer… no great trick I’m afraid, but i often find these things add a nice grain to a piece.

Thanks for stopping by

Thank you very much for the answer, RawSunlight. Great idea.

Think this is going to be my last PaintStop post as this is turning into my gallery here, and I’ve spent way more time with it than I intended… i bought zbrush to learn to sculpt for normal maps!!!

Anywho... here is my beautiful daughter, Issy fizzy bean, for her 6 month birthday and as a pressie for her grandma :) <!----> Have included the original photo - drew quick outlines on a top layer (for basic feature proportions), then it's hand painted all the way. I tried softening her quizical look, but may have made her a little sad??? Will need to take a break and look again in a few days <!----> If i'm honest, this kind of detailed work is just a little too hard in paintstop. I'd hope for improvements in 3.5 and 4, but I'd rather get my hands on all those lovely new sculptnig features!!!![Issy Fizzy Bean.jpg|960x720](upload://mGNJG8hOfV1trQaSSfQ1PH3IYU0.jpeg)![Issy Original.jpg|583x778](upload://kqkGsgZM9sEZygUfd5sjDq7p9Y1.jpeg)

Truly beautiful baby:+1: :+1: :+1:
When she gets older, do not tell her she shared a gallery with orcs:D

Aww, her eyes!! are really beautiful!! congratz Raw!

Excellent painting of her RawSunlight:+1: - I think it would look good printed out onto a canvas.

Wow, really good work for kid…

my compliments.

RenderDemon, you’re a beast!!! :rage:
