Overlapping UVs for duplicate geometry - only sculpt onto one set?

Hello, I’m new to zbrush and I’m hoping someone can help me with this.

I’ve created a winged character in maya and I need each wing to be identical, so I’ve overlapped the UVs for each wing, one set directly on top of another.

My question is, if I intend to generate a normal map from zbrush after sculpting this model, should I only sculpt onto one of the wings to avoid duplicating and overlapping two sets of sculpted effects onto one area of the map?

Hope that makes sense!

yep, you got it. if you have the overlapping UV’s Zmapper can get confused which piece goes where. So yeah, only bring in one, and sculpt on that.

Thanks! Thought I’d better check - it’s so easy to get things hideously wrong when learning a new program!
