wethand -thanks

I’m finally finished, I want to say thanks to everybody for pushing me in the right direction. Like before this was a great learning process. I learned so much about texturing metal throughout the making of this character, and learned new techniques as well. I rendered a huge picture but had to make it smaller to fit the guide lines. Thanks guys:D

This turned out very well, love the pose and textures on the last render. One thing bugging me though is the reflection on the glasses. Could help toning that down a bit. Other than that, this is top notch work

Grats, you have been working on that guy for some time! Turned out great, good interpretation.:+1:

Awesome work dude!:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:

Awesome Details, great job, I was wondering what is your process of making hard surface armor, I am a student at an art school and no one has been teaching that

Here’s a link to a high res picture of my character, I should have posted this first. Don’t know what I was thinking.

vikramvr- thank you, kinda like the eye’s like that.I might mess around with it some more;)

Dman3d-thanks, I worked on this to long. At least it helped me out on my speed.

AVBN5000-thanks

ArthurRamazanov- Thanks the way I did it is really simple. I just made alphas in zbrush on my subtools, then I used those in my actually texture maps in Photoshop. The areas where the metal shows I turned completely white in my spec map and added some noise as well to make it pop more. I also sculpted some scratches in the actually pieces to make it seem more worn.
