As amazing as zbrush is at organic creation Iāve been really loving Google Sketchup for creating mechanical and architectural elements.
(try it itās free, there are also pluginās for obj export, but you wonāt like the mesh in zbrush)
Iām trying to find a renderer, hopefully free, that I can export models from both zbrush and google Sketchup.
Currently Iām using kerkythea www.kerkythea.com. Itās been wonderful for sketchup, kinda sketchy for zbrush models.
None of my maps or UVās are landing on the model right in kerkythea. (Itās probably me, This is an area Iām trying to learn and right now am totally bafffled by, feel free to point me to any concise tuts)
What Iām wondering is is there a better free renderer out there that you guys are having a very seamless workflow with zbrush? Any recommendations.
Loving the Freescale Frenchy.

Alchemy is an open drawing project aimed at exploring how we can sketch, draw, and create on computers in new ways. Alchemy isnāt software for creating finished artwork, but rather a sketching environment that focuses on the absolute initial stage of the creation process. Experimental in nature, Alchemy lets you brainstorm visually to explore an expanded range of ideas and possibilities in a serendipitous way.
