Techsmith is giving away an older version of Camtasia Studio free of charge. Along with that, you have the option to upgrade the older version to the current 5.0 version for half price, $150.00. Not sure how long this will run but if you’ve always wanted it to make your own video tutorials but the price was too high… nows the time. Merry Xmas.

Camtasia offer is still there for download but when you go to get the key the offer is over and they offer a 30 day trial of the new version. Too pricey for me.
@blaine: Camstasia v.3 is some sufficent for many things 
No need to uptade except if you are a big society of media communication 
They don’t give a key anymore. The offer is over I guess. Your right though. I did not need it anyway :lol: Is MOI released yet for sale?

I guess TechSmith needed to hit some kind of quota on units sold by the end of the year… then pulled the plug on the offer when they made their number.
I downloaded version 3 last week but never even installed it. As soon as I got my keycode-email, I ordered the 1/2 price upgrade to version 5 which I immediately downloaded and installed. The boxed version arrived by UPS last Friday.
Not sure what ways I’ll use it yet but with the discounted price I figured I should grab it.
