Absolutly amazing!
Cool!
Interesting concept!
free stand-alone tool designed to remove shadows from model textures. The tool is targeted on removing cast shadows and ambient occlusion from 3D models. It requires user input in a form of rough brush strokes marking lit and shadowed areas.
Very cool!
Very impressive, although I do think this approach diminishes the emotions and overall feeling of the human touch in terms of paint daubs, style and other human properties.
Speaking of which: there’s a certain 3D tool that offers all kinds of fake-drawn, stylized rendering options for your 3D models. Can’t remember its name.
Maybe this one ?
My lips are sealed.

Also interesting — your fellow Frenchman Maxime has released QuadRemesher:
It’s not free though.
Octane render free for the free Blender 2.8
Cool news indeed. I read it a the Blender Artists forum. Cycles has also got an upgrade with NVIDIA OptiX:
…and this one! AMD Radeon ProRender!
Works even you have not an AMD card!

Bien sur! Also a very competent renderer. Used it for a while, and I’m keeping track of its development.
Then there’s Luxcorerender and Appleseed, also very potent and free renderers:
So you can use the free Blender and choose between these free renderers (in alphabetical order):
- Appleseed
- Cycles
- Eevee
- Luxcorerender
- Octane (free with certain conditions)
- Prorender
Renderman also used to be usable in Blender, but not (yet) in 2.8.
