Oryx

Dear all,

again some free time… so It was time to do some fun practice, this is the arabic desert ORYX, it is one of the Icons in this part of the world, I tried to build the model according to image samples and books that help me to model it in LW, then I exported to ZB and I used it to define more details and paint the texture, finally I send back to LW & do some final adjustment on colors and bumps in BP, I also used some bump textures that was created in the 3dtotal CD collection, I think all worked good & every element helped in it’s own way…

I did set up a rig to test it out further, did a short animation Test available on this link, it is 11MB Divex.
for animation download here:

please feel free to comment & I hope that you enjoy the test, also I wish you all a Great and prosperous new year. oryx44.jpg

Bonito trabajo. Elegante y tierno.:+1: :+1:

I ever loved Oryx

Nice!

Nice movie! But take care of the muscles in the legs behind, they are too strong all the time. Make a morphtarget for it when they have to relax. I like the detail of the moving ears!
Can you also take care of the tail?

Hehe!!
Thanks guys …anD I love the comments … yeh for sure I need to work out the Video more
and will do the next round, this was only for test purposes… But like the observations thanks
I will be posting some more screens as I said earlier, and other texturing methods.

Thanks again

Just a detail : careful there is a bright “halo” around the animals !

Thanx

the light effect was just part of the Feel that I wanted to get, yeh…this is more like preference… but the clients just love that effect  thanks guys…

this will finally be used as part of a development for animals, also here are some screens.
