Orc (WIP)

Hi,

This not so nice guy is still in progress. It is a zbrush modelling practice and I will add an upperbody later. I started with a simple zspherehead,nothing fancy. Zspheres for eyes,nose,mouth and ears.

I probably add more damage,dirt, things like that at a later stage. First I want to have a body to have an idea for the final image.

Great model, I dig the details. If you use pinch tool on the tooth edges, they can look sharper, not as round…The lighting is cool too…:smiley:

VERY nice… dare I ask? Share your alphas? : ) Of course ya dont have to ; ) but I love the texture you have on the alar of the nose… sweet!

Dickie: Agree, the teeth needs to be sharper. They´re too round and clean at the current state. About the lighting. I forgot to mention that I have used a lightsetup from Rimasson,slightly tweaked for my needs. Thx for that :slight_smile:

Scott Spencer: I would like to share the alphas… but there is no need. I only used the standard alphas. Most of the time I use Alpha Adjust to get the result I wanted and change settings of my brushtool.

I modelled a rough basemesh in 3dsmax and started sculpting already.

At the end I will multimark all the objects together. I dont worry about a seam between the head/neck and the body because I will add some sort of armor which will hide that seam.

I rigged the basemesh in 3dsmax.The pose will be differnt from what it looks now, I have a stored morphtarget which contains the posed one. So i can sculpt in mirrormode and then, at a later stage switch to the morphtarget and continue sculpting.
