Well that’s obviously Top Row if I’ve ever seen Top Row. Superb!
It reminds me of that oldskool movie Willow. Top Row.

it looks like the skin bump map was derived from the face photo/texture? what was your process for creating that skin surface on his face?
Woww! Thank´s anigroove, Michalis and !baller!! :)
Thank´s men!
I am very glad you like!! The texture was painted in z-brush and finished in photoshop

Big Hug!
Very nice piece…
Incredible mate. Very nice. is ti possible to show us your render settings and fur systems you used. Also the eyes are very pretty, can you also show us the process. Sorry for all the questions but this piece is great and we all want to learn from it.GREAT Job.
Hi. Nice piece. However the the lighting looks quite odd in the scene especially on the beast creatures back leg also the blood on the hand spoils the piece as it really doesn’t look like blood. Just my 2 cent keep it up.
Hi Guys!
Thank you to everyone who responded

Thank´s Solidsnake, Cinoklu and Goobatastic!
I hope you enjoyed! :lol:l
great job very cool
can u tell me how u create the topology in zbrush please ???
Hi !
great work again. May I ask you a question please?
after you retropologize, do you need to sculpt again the details on the new adaptive skin? since the uv’s will be different then. I find this retropoligizing a bit confusing and you seem the right artist to figure it out. can you give us a quick tutorial with a few steps what needs to be done. because it is very important to re topologize the mesh especially if you have stuff like horns and spikes that were not catered for in the opiginal mesh.
waiting eagerly your reply. thanks in advance.
Hi, first of all please let me say how awesome and inspiring this work is, especially to a newbie like myself. The final rendering you have of the Orc is excellent, and is something i’m attempting to achieve myself. Many thanks for the WIP shots too, it’s from these that i’m discovering the Zbrush workflow and trying to work it all out it’s a steep learning curve as i’ve only ever done hard surface in C4D.
Can I ask how you managed to manipulate the chain mail on the Orc soldier you posted? I’ve tried this myself and it starts off well but then begins to stretch… badly
I recently posted my first zbrush work here (http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthread.php?t=85190), which is also based on an Orc from lotr. I’d really appreciate your critique and any tips you might have.
I’ll certainly be looking out for your work in the future!
