Optimal Character UV layout

Good day, dear experts,

tell me please, which from those two layouts is more optimal? And what should I change to make it better?
Character was made for static render. I will use Mental ray with SSS Skin shader.

none of them - make the face bigger as it has more detail

I usually go for “vertically mirrored” UV’s as it’s easier to change in PS, and be able to mirror the changes.
