wow,very nice.:+1:

err… the head really looks like it’s twisted on backwards? creeps me out!

anyway can you post the textures? Did you unwrap, or just paint it in zbrush? Just curious on how you did the texturing, very nice job.

aah… Finally the top row i see  that’s the place where this fine pice of art should be! congratz!!!

Incredible photo realism, The materials and textures really stand out as fine work.:+1:

Holly uncanny valley!
Great work.

Wow…

Amazing

Great Great Job!!

I love this cloth, this hair!!

One Question: The hair is done with zbrush? or imported from another app?

This is the most beautiful piece of art I have ever seen. Excellent job!!
I really need to learn how to render my stuff. :+1:

Amazing stuff …isnt it ???

First of all: Thank you all so much for your comments and for front page.

Like I promised, I’ll talk more about making.

Mainly I used 3dsmax for modeling. I really wanted to make her look beautiful so I was very accurate with whole posing and her general look.

After I felt satisfied with that part, I moved to zbrush. This was really fun part, because I presumed of how much detail I wanted and since the whole model was finished and fully unwrapped all I cared about was making her more natural looking. Most of the time I spend on her back using lots of refs. Also I added some small details on face and arm.

The cloth part was well… err… interesting. First I thought of sculpting it, but then I decided to simulate it. And the whole idea and realization of doing that may seem strange and somewhat stupid, but oh well, it worked perfectly for me and I’m happy.

I needed the body to take that cloth and so basically she did :). I transformed the model into “start” I needed to grab the cloth, and morphed it to final model. Of course there was lot of tweaking in animation time and the cloth parameters, but what I’ve got in the end was naturally looking cloth with absolutely correctly unwrap.

Since I’ve talked already about cloth shader I’ll just show the textures I’ve mentioned.

Someone asked me here if jewelry design was mine, so the answer is yes, the concept is absolutely the most important thing in the image to me.

Chains were made starting with splines which modeled “manually” without any simulation (though were thinking about it). All chains are instances btw.

The hair was a real pain and I’m not happy with them either and that’s basically because ornatrix shaders really sucks. Since I’ve 2gb ram I couldn’t allow to convert whole hair to mesh and render it together. I think I’ll try max hair next time, or get more ram or think of something else. (Btw any tips are welcome).

Skin texture was painted in photoshop using tablet. Basically I was focused more on tones rather on details.

For lighting I’ve used to area lights which you can obviously spot from the image itself, and few planes to work as reflectors.

All reflections used HDRI.

Overly this is a pure render without any over paints. Hair of course was composed to overall image and zdepth. And everything else was contrasting and slight overall color correction.

That’s all folks

Thanks again and cheers!

Andrius

Truly your effort is my inspiration

thanks for sharing the information mate…pretty unusual way of posing the clothing around her arm  but worth the effort :+1:

Only thing i can come up with is that, in the face closeup, it seems like the ear is slightly transparent so that some hair straws are visible trough it. if they were meant to be in front of the ear, maybe they should have a tiny touch of gold there to state it…

Keep it up…

Amazing work, like the pose too!!! keep the good work going man…!!!

Looking great, the details are nicely done

Love it - quality work alright :+1:

first of all great work, hopefully I do not come across as being condesending, but I think the texture of the skin could be improved by dealing more with the layers that affect the skin?

This is truly incredible, my many hats are off.

coulu you give the modle:D
