Been playing with polypainting today, Pixologic you are Gods…
whats poly painting then ?
crit wise mate i would say that the vains are alittle too purple/pink need to be more blue… also i alwasy find that allot of vains under the skin work well, some dark red and some blue at about 1 or 2 rgb… plus the lips could be with a slight colour difference

Paint your model in full 3D, then project you painted work onto the UV texture afterwards… 
The colours etc still need a tweak Ed, but I agree with your comments, still have loads to do, might even add some more horns…
