Oldman&LION...FiberMesh

I’ve seen your work.
Very good.
I have tested two kinds of textures and micro-mesh.
Will be updated soon.
Thank you.

feather… fibermesh test…
Feather fiber mesh was created.
This will be applied to the micro-mesh.
Is unnatural… @,.@…

Beautiful. Would love to see how you did this.

Oh wow nice

whoa that looks gorgeous! I agree with Laurie, would love to hear more details
I really like your other stuff and timelapses too!

Beautiful feather! Would love to know how you achieved this with just fibermesh. I attempted one with fibermesh as well but wasn’t able to get it to be quite as flat as you’ve achieved. Instead I created mine with S&H converted to poly. I did find though that the render times for using this method with micromesh were pretty long (8 core 3.6Ghz processor and 16 gigs of ram). You’ll have to let us know the render length if you get good results.

Looking forward to seeing it!

edit: I guess it doesn’t matter how much power you have since Zbrush is only utilizing up to 4 Gigs (damn 32 bit)

Great work on this feather… would love to see how it was done…!

that feather rocks!

And micro-mesh is not suitable for the feathers.
Rendering takes a long time.
I will use as a texture.

Is how I made the feathers.
