at the momment the wrinkles on her face and on her neck look like they’re done in a hurry. The strokes are too rough…they look a like they’re just sketched… and some of them give the impression that the surface is made out of plastic or some hard substance.
Hmm, watched some photos in National Geographic of old women
and I think Iatriki has a point on the wrinkles an all.
They do come off a bit soft and smooth, even around the
eye-area. The structure is certainly there but maybe they need
another pass to get those little in-between cracks and crispy skin look?
That also goes for the hands
But im sure ure alreasy on that
Keep it coming!
hey guys - I agree about the wrinkles being too sharp at the moment - yesss I haven’t really been smoothing them yet… still early days thanks!
Oh, on the contrary they are not too sharp.
What I (and Iatriki, I think) meant is that
they come off as soft and blurry “fast strokes” and that you need to make them more “hard-edge” and sharp/crispy, close to the folders, for a nice contrast to the plain skin
And THEN you do the werewolf-thingy-morphy i suggested! MUAHAHA!
Srry…just slipped out…
A wel! Keep feeding us lovely w.i.p!
Oh really? well I didn’t get you then… well I will work on them this weekend and see where it gets me thanks for clearing it up!
werewolf sounds tempting LOL Cheers!
NoicE mate!
Hey Magda…
great sculpt! I like the overall mood of the piece…
This is awesome Intervain, the sculpting alone is TOP ROW material.
I hope you post more updates soon, I didn’t see this on the new posts thumbnails - it deserves to be seen by many people, so keep it up.
5 stars for you (obviously)
Jit.
baker17 - thank you!
hey shraga - thanks for dropping by! Glad you like her
jit_gohil - thank you very much! I really appreciate it!
well I’ve had time to get back to her today and work on the face - I basically redid all the wrinkles and started working on the hands but still haven’t finished either :o
Hope it’s a bit better now
[]
and a bit more… still so much to do

This is a beautiful model. Nothing else for me to say I’m afraid. Keep going…
oh wow, this is looking great, very nicely done so far!
Really nice work Magdalena, and these hands are just great !
I hope you’ll texture this lady as well
well I got back to her today after a much needed break had to do some uvs…I didn’t like those heavily defined wrinkles after all [especially after trying some colour on - just looked weird
] so I toned everything down… the colour’s just a slapped base to give me an idea not a final texture…
[Sebcesoir’s skinwax material on the left - untouched]
that’s really nice!
wow!! great!!
Alex Oliver
Superb update!!
Very cool update Intervain!
hey intervain…nice update !..thats my problem too…but i wanna render it in Zbrush…rendering with heavy displaceMap is very time concuming,…keep it up !
Lil’sister -thanks [and see ya at Adapt
]
Alex - thank yoU!
RAMWolff - glad you like
piz - cheers!
skulll_monster -thnx - yeah I think I’ll stick to Zbrush myself
a bit more tweaking in the polypainting department and slight changes to the geometry, especially around the eyes… hardly anything dramatic though… - mostly experimenting since I haven’t textured anything in Zbrush or outside of it, for a century at least !
