Old man - anticipation

It started out as a doodle, but I got carried away and worked on it for approximately 5 to 6 hours. It is an old man in anticipation of something. I was inspired when I paid a visit at my mother’s work place - a senior’s home. It could be a visit from his children that he longs for. It could be some excitement in life that he longs for, or it could be an end to his loneliness that he longs for.

anyways, here it is, might be a good idea to build a body for him too and bring it to maya to do some final renders …

I was hoping for more critiques and comments because I am still looking for a direction to take this into. Thank you very much anyway for your comment, appreciate it.

Wow I didn’t realize this thread is still around. Furthermore, I sounded like a complete asshole ten years ago… ashamed
