Interesting. tell us more about the game!
i would love to see the rest of this characters it’s REALLY well done. i always find myself like auto click on things like these… sadly. i cant make them yet pc is slow and i dont wanna do zbrush with a mouse. but i’ve been at Dungeons and dragons since i was 8
(31 now lol) and i love fantasy characters. drawing them all the time. and games like diablo 3 and baldurs gate etc (lately Loki…). i would’ve loved to see where this one went. mebbe you should show these to someone. get that game up and running again, you never know
yeah I like it… have any textured renders?
@ ryzzhan : Man I know exactly what you mean! I have the same issue of slow pc and no drawing tablet… and zbrush is not much fun this way!
Hi
WoW,Its so cool!I like the details.Good Job.keep it up.
alannoon: Demons, hi-tech humans, angels, monsters, in a devil may cry style action mmo. I’m no longer involved with the company and don’t know if it’s wise to mention much of the details.
Ryzzhan: I can actually work with a mouse too, though it’s not that fast And my work computer at that time was fairly standard. I left the company awhile back and went my own way, but I don’t own the rights to the IP. But the IP is being used in a very different medium now, nothing to really do with next gen video games, hence my exit from the company.
Darkus719: sadly I don’t have the texture files nor the low poly for the character.
That being said here’s front shot of the full body.

Very nice!
hey this is really cool! thanks for sharing.
you did that with a mouse !?
Really nice work there. How long did it take you to finish from start to end?
Sorry to hear that it didn’t make it for the game.
Hey man great work. The style of this character sort of represents the style of characters I how to be creating sometime soon. I also have an issue with my computer but, its not a matter of it being slow just that it can’t render normal and displacement maps in Zbrush. It is a five or six year old Dell media Center desktop and not meant for ZBrush.
How long did this character take you to create? Did you use a base mesh or create a base mess in another program besides Zbrush? Did you use protection manager?
There is one very small detail that I notice that could be easily fixed; the lower teeth on the shoulder armor are not smooth. I can see a very low poly mess for the teeth. You such smooth that out to make everything pretty much perfect.
I have one other question. I know I have a lot but, I’m still learning. What game engine were you going to use for your game?
Justin
Sebcesoir: I’m a fan of your work, top quality sir! Cheers.
RiVvenGuard: thanks glad to share.
Ryzzhan: If I said I did the whole thing with a mouse would you think I’m cool?
Haha, No I make this with a mouse, though I did use a mouse during parts of the sculpting process.
cgicore: Thanks. I think it was a bit over two weeks, there were multiple revisions during the process. I got pulled aside to do other things so I didn’t work full time on the piece day in and day out.
justinh1245: read above. Use xnormal to create normals. amb occlussion, etc, it’s free and works great. Base was created in maya. I used a couple of alphas to quickly carve out most of the details. The teeth, I kind of like the jagged look of the low poly teeth, good eye though:)
It was one of those big commercial game engines.
Here’s the shot of the back, there’s a big obnoxious tail but I hid it:)

Jakerton,
Thanks for answering my questions. I really like the organic and mechanical style of his armor. I think it would be worth a try to poly-paint this model. What do you say?
Is there any other cool characters like this that you have created that you would like to share? Maybe some hot chick characters?
Oh yeah there are a couple of other things I forgot to mention. Is there any way you could show us what kind of alphas you used?
You should give him a cool axe or sword and put him in a dynamic pose.
Wow, that’s really cool!
Great job on detailing the bone armor.
