Odd ZSphere Adaptive Skin Results

Hi guys,

I’ve used ZSpheres many times in the past and always gotten fairly predictable results. Lately it seems like everytime I use ZSpheres to block out a character I get weird results:

Im usually able to work around it but Im wondering if theres anything Im doing wrong. Anyone have an idea whats going on here? Am I not supposed to use ZSpheres to express volume?

Any advice is greatly appreciated :smiley:

Two methods to skin, classic and other. Neither works for you? Make sure there are no hidden extra zspheres.

Yeah, pretty similar results with either method. I may have some spheres buried, but I think Id rather keep the volume and just sculpt around it after creating the adaptive skin.

You have to turn off ‘Use Classic Skinning’.
