Often when im in the middle of sculpting or painting a 3D mesh in Zbrush, a 2.5D version of the object will pop in my workspace for no reason and mess me up, and i know i never did anything to prompt it to do so. Its really distracting and a real problem when im trying to focus. Any suggestions?

It sounds like you’re pressing Shift+S by accident. Maybe through sticky keys. Maybe something else. But that’s the shortcut for the Snapshot command. If it continues to be a problem for you, you can always try changing the shortcut. Just Ctrl+Click on the Snapshot button (on the right shelf or in the Transform palette) and then enter a new key combination followed by pressing the Enter key.
I thought it was me pressing the shortcut my mistake too, but it even happens when i dont have my hands on the keys at all and just using a tablet, its very weird.
