Obviously Not A Projection Master...

Hello. My name’s Jon, and I’m new here.

Doing a little environment sculpting for a UDK scene. Working on a quarter door piece (the door is round, like a hobbit hole). My mesh is ready to be projected apon…

I go to projection master (using only deformation), and prepare the alpha:

Everything looks good. I grab a simple brush, drag rect and my apha of choosing. I drag that guy out and obviously, I’m not perfect so I need to move it a little. When I move it, the background goes transparent-ish, and my mesh on the canvas gets wiped over:

When I move, it continues to clear the mesh underneath. I have no clue what’s going on. When I pick up, all hell breaks loose. I thought it was because I was super high res, so I went down a subdiv level. Same thing. I also tried the single-layer and directional brush. Same thing. I’m on a Mac using ZBrush 4. Anyone know what’s up?

Thanks,
Jon

The above is my second image, guess I wasn’t aware of the linking rules. I managed to go down to another subdivision level and got it working. Though, there’s no reason projection master shouldn’t work at 2.3 million…right?
