I keep seeing issues importing OBJ files. Usually it’s problems with messed
up UVs one one or two polys, but this latest appears to be a mesh problem.
I’m trying to get a workflow set up for posing meshes in blender.
I export a mesh. Rig it up in blender and pose it. Then I take the posed
mesh and import it back into ZB (3.1 - PC)
The process works well enough. Except for random glitches like the one
shown in the attached image.
It almost looks like a normal has been flipped on one poly’. The problem
doesn’t appear until you go up two subdivs from the imported level.
It’s fixable. But irritating, just the same. I’m pretty sure the posed mesh
I’m importing is clean (certainly the normals are correct), and as it’s not
been edited while in blender, the point order should be 100% untouched.
Has anyone else seen glitches like this? Any advice for avoiding them?
