[attach=13690]monkey.JPG[/attach] this is my "Monkey model done in 3ds max adn when i save it out as a obj file and import into zbrusgh i go to tool >import obj and when i paint it out it looks all wierd
i could not uplaod 2 image files in the other post dunno why so here is the wierd pic from zbrush how can i get it to look loike the monkey model inside zbrush??

Did you get a message that your model has non-4sided polys?
Does your model has instances?
Try to export the head only, looks like you have several models in there.
maybe a wire would be helpful.
i built half the head in 3ds max then i added a symmetry modifier and the teeth are boxes and the eyes are geospeheres

on export, make sure that the group is set to object.
export by quads.
if you want to keep uv’s make sure you have at least 10 digits (can’t remember what the option for that is called)
Turn off the last 2 options in the exporter.
can’t remember what they are either.
that is the info that someone passed onto me earlier today and it seemed to work fine after that.
