OBJ Export Troubles

Hi there,

I have a question here, I’m working with one of my models here, which now cannot be Exported back to an OBJ format. I do get the UVs, but not the vertexes, like here:

What I’m abit worried about is the “v na na na” part.

What am I doing wrong here? How do I keep loosing my Vtx coords?

Thanks,
Rus

EDIT: I’m on Mac, btw

I’ve not heard of this but you could try this. In the Tool>Export submenu, set the Scale to 1 and the XYZ Offsets to 0, then try again.

Let me know if it helps.

Thanks, Marcus, it worked.

Why would it do such a thing?

Is there any way to tell zBrush to keep all unit scales as they are. and maybe adjust clipping planes/canvases manually when needed?

Thanks,
Rus

Bump,

I really don’t like this feature, I’m getting the same “v na na na” again.

Why does Pixologic keep doing things in a way that the user has no way of knowing what is happening to the model. Auto sub-tool select, auto menus, auto scale, auto offsets, auto split UVs, Auto-everything, but auto-generation of proper displacements is still so far away from reality.

Sorry, Pixologic, I’m just really frustrated with the workflow, super-awesome features, but such simple things a learning curve and predictability are left behind.
I’ve waited 5 years for things to change abit, but have been struggling and loosing work for a week now. And it just sux, when you’re hammering at the things such as scale and other simple things, and at the end cannot even guarantee a deliver.
Please, have some mercy and make it usable for people working in productions which have deadlines. :cry:small_orange_diamond:cry:small_orange_diamond:cry:

Sorry for the whining. Just trying to help.

Anyway, I need to get this Object scale thing solved.
