OBJ export suddenly .BMP instead of .TIF

When I’ve exported an obj before (grp unchecked) it’s accompanied with a .mtl & a .tif (the texture format)
I want this connection.

Since yesterday it’s suddenly exporting the accompanied .tif as a .bmp. I’ve gone in and changed the code connection of the .mtl so it is connected to a .tif but when I take it back into another program, that connection is broken and there is no texture.

TL;DR: I want my .obj to be exported with a .tif. I don’t know what I screwed up in my .ztl. Please help.
I need a more adulted zbrush adult.

I don’t think ZBrush has ever exported TIF format directly with the OBJ. But it’s easy enough to do:

  1. In the Tool palette Texture Map sub-palette, press the Clone Txtr button. This puts a copy of the texture in the Texture palette.
  2. In the Texture palette, make sure the texture is selected and then press Export. Select TIF in the file dialog dropdown list to save as a tif.

You’ll need to edit the MTL file as you did before.
