Hi,
Been experimenting with Zbrush again. I discovered that Zbrush is also excellent for modelling ancient Greek coins. 
The cavity parameters in the materials menu are also fun to play around with when it comes to simulating grime and oxidization that collects over time, in the nooks and crannies of the coin surface

Thanks! I’m not sure what base material I used. (Still learning this…) I just found some material and played around with the settings. Have attached it together with a new experiment.

As you can see, the original piece is silver but I was curious how it may have looked if minted in either bronze or gold. At the moment the other side is empty but when time permits, I’ll do it as well.
The Zbrushed version is by no means an exact copy of the original (if you look closely, you’ll see a whole bunch of discrepancies) However, one can get away with a lot because coins of this period weren’t identical to one and other or minted as consistently as modern day coins (were one could immediately spot an inaccuracy) Because of this, modelling these types of objects serve as a rather fun exercise.
