i really like this so far, shes very cute, which is nice compared to the t&a i see here.
to me, her ears are a little flat to her head, also slightly too tall, even if they are correctly proportional, to the eye they seem big. lastly the bridge of the nose seems to wide, but i have seen people who look like this. all personal preference, so don’t take too seriously.

it would help if u stoped worrying, n worked more…intuatively.
what i mean is u have to get the look u want from ur first try, nd it has to be easy, hair always looks more natural when it’s been done …Easy…intuativly…

What you say is true SIdi. If you have to force a certain element of a model (or any artistic project for that matter) it’s usually not as worthy as it could have been, in the end. It’s the ones that just pop out “intuitively” as you put it that tend to look the best for some reason. Perhaps, that’s the moment when the ‘left brain-right brain’ decide that they want to be harmonious. lol. Sounds like you know quite a bit about pre-planning your painting. I could definitely learn from that.

I’m also a newbie in Z, but I understand the female anatomy.
I dont think the girl looks sexy. It’s more like the girl next door. It doesn’t need to be a playboy girl, I dont like that.
But if you make the waist a little bit smaller.
Make her neck a little longer.
Make her legs longer, en her ankle thinner.
About the face, well looks at the most beautifull girl you know a try to see why she’s so pretty for you. And than copy those single facets.
I beleve the the space between the eyes could be a little bit more defined. a wide space looks a little non female. Try to sharpen the nosebone with you’re pinch brush, and look for a different angle for the nosetip.
Her ears need some attention. And her chin is a little too sharp. But hey what you made so far… I cant do it…yet.

I had to rework her face because they wanted it to look more like the model, so I changed a few things and changed her hair (its still being worked on though) cause it looked poo.
She looks a bit better with make up and I have to leave her face now cause its moved on in the production.
I did change her proportions a bit too. Her groin was a bit to high and i widened her hips a tad to suit the model.
Sid: I saw the female you were doing (I looked at your recent threads ;)) and its really good. I hope I can get that good soon Need lots of practice! <3

The ears look a little better now, although I’d probably do a little more. That could simply be the angle you have her at too. Could you post a front shot? The last one is slightly turned. Also, I wanted to ask what you’re going to be doing with this model. Is this for a movie?
SIdi: The art devil hits me all the time. Doesn’t really hurt. Maybe my head is just numb now from all the excessive hits to the noggin. LoL. Then again, maybe the art angel beat the art devil out and that’s why it’s not so painful. :rolleyes: :lol:
Cool then, SIdi. I’m sure there’s some things you’ll be able to help with. Maybe I’ll post my current model and see what I need to do with it. I think this is the best one I’ve made so far, and the hands are at least decently made this time. It probably has some crazy edge loops in spots, but they don’t seem to give me any problems so far. I’ve already put her to the test and morphed her completely male and did some things in other apps. Could definitely use some refining though.
Wim: A little chit chat here and there is okay. Fortunately Anuxinamoon said that it was good motivation. I guess the old saying goes “all work and no play… etc,etc,…” I was concerned with how far it went for a minute but to busy to worry after. I guess that’s the personal issue you meant. .The face starts to look more human. If its the purpose to let her look so mean you’re doiing a good job, if not, you should give her a bigger uperlip. Try not to bring the mouth like this in a reverce v pose.

Lumin8: I cant say at t this time what its for. But its not for anything that requires animation and rigging and will stay in zbrush. (thats why I have to sculpt the hair) I grabed a front on for you <3 Not perspective though, opps =/

At this point I would just make small modifications to the material and lighting. It’s almost perfect, it just needs a little more to give it life. Nice work.

Twitch: Thanks man, I will have a go at playing around with the texture some more. I dont know much about lighting though, will have to see if it affects the model in realtime.
Pap: Hey thanks The skin material is a custom material we use inhouse, I moified it a bit and added some noise and changed the colours. The hair and eyelashes uses the default gorilla matcap and the eyes use good ol toy plasitc

Anyway Here she is, I did a quick transpose using transpose master. Its really cool to use for transposing. Though I was really messy with it and the clothes all tied into knots and her hads and feet got all twisted and broken. But it was fun to play around with. I wil have to have a serious go some time. But right now I’m kinda sick of working on her. I need a break

I liek the pose a lot. Everything seems to have a weight to it and deforms properly. Perhaps the head is slightly too large in relation to the body.

It’s absolutely fantastic. Really superb job of texturing, and great pose. Only critique is that the ears are about 10% too big on the head, shrink them just a bit, and that model is perfect, in my opinion.
nice bum, the material still doesnt seem perfected though, if youre going to keep it in zbrush, theres no harm in taking your times messing around perfecting the material.

I’m guessing you just haven’t gotten to it yet, but all the same incase you didn’t think of it you should put some wrinkling on the concave part of the body if you get what I mean. Also flatten the butt where it’s in contact with the ground and perhaps bulge it some more at the back so it maintains its volume. And lastly the armpits in the front view match up but in the back her right armpit looks a bit too low.

I’ve always liked that pose… there r some things in her weight that need to be better… her right arm… In that pose… the forearm is sopossed to be slightly bended out, that means the elbow should be slightly bent inwards towards her torso, that will show her weight better…If u extend ur arm to its’ full extent…it’s never a strait line, it’ll bend a bit at the elbow in the opposit direction…the digree of it varies on an individual base, but it’s there.
Look at her right knee too… at some point it’s gonna decide to run off on it’s own, go 4 milk shakes n come back…there was a long lost movie on something like that 4 a hand!
