Is there an easier to mask subtools to keep them from moving? Making them invisible is not good because I still need to see the ones I’m not moving for reference.
What I have to do now is go to each subtool and hit ctrl+A. It’s not very efficient.
Using the new Gizmo function, press the “Transpose all selected subtools” icon. By default it moves all visible subtools.
To create a specific group to be moved, Shift-Ctrl click on each desired subtool in the viewport. Likewise Shift-Ctrl draw a selection marquee that completely encompasses a group of desired subtools. You will see those subtools not part of the selection blocked out with an overlay of horizontal lines.
Shift-Ctrl click in empty canvas space to invert selection. Shift-Ctrl drag and release a marquee in empty canvas to clear.
