If you still have the issue, please, do the following test:
- Check in Decimation Master preference that the option “Delete caches at startup” is enable. If not, enable it and do a store config.
- Quit ZBrush and restart it.
- while ZBrush is running, check the content of the ZStartup/ZPlugs/DecimationMaster/DeciamtionMasterData (or similar). It should be empty. If not, then tell me, the issue may come from here. If yes, let’s go to the next step
- open a file which make Decimation Master crashing, if possible, a simple one with few polygons.
- start your preprocess. When the error dialog box appears, don’t close it/validate it, leave it open!
- then go back to your DecimationMasterData folder, which should have temporary files in it. zip this folder and send it to me (please, send links by private message or if you need an FTP access, i’ll provide it to you).
We can’t reproduce this issue, then we need to have the temporary files to try finding where the issue may comes from.
