First off, I just started learning ZBrush A few months ago so I’m quite new to digital sculpting. I decided to do a nose study today and get some feedback and critique on it.
welcome on board…
Sincerely…ask yourself…does what I just did look like a nose?.
Gather as much reference as you can…even use a mirror and task yourself as hard as you can…you will get there
Welcome to the Zbrush world! It can be a lot of fun and certainly quite challenging. When doing anatomy studies keep in mind that Pinterest is your friend here.
Lean on stuff like this whenever you do anatomy studies. You can type in any sort of search terms and get different results … so try different search terms to find what you need.
My goto brushes for this sort of thing are simply the Clay Tubes, Move, Curve Pinch and Smooth brushes (I really like the Curve Pinch for things like the sides of the nostrils and the split in the cartilage on the tip of the nose.
Good luck,
