Norman Rockwells Hobo (nudity)

Heres a new character I started last week, Its still a wip. The head base is the same as my Shia LaBeouf model. Its inspired by Norman Rockwells hobo painting. Not sure of its actual name I’m afraid :o.

great idea for a project Brett!

Am3D: LOL! Yea. Its my 1st bush. hahaha. I should have maybe put nudity on the title. But thought, Nah. Its art.

Intervain: Thanks Mag. I’m havin fun with this one. Also Learning a lot. Not everyday we get to sculpt an old man like this :).

man, you DO like big pics… hehehe (good, thing though. now we really can enjoy your great details).

looking awesome buddy.
looks like the cold haven’t completely gotten in to you. hehehe

-r

Very Cool Brett - lol nice pouch - Skins got very cool natural feel and nice proportions - great work but you could have blurred free _ …

RasmusW: Hahahaha. I know I know. I can’t help it. Go big or go home they say. If Aurick wants smaller pics I’ll be happy to down size them :).

Food: Lol! Thanks Foo.

Wow Brett

First you do 15 Shia Labeouf expressions

Now your making an old Shia Labeouf !!

Very nice work :D;)

Thanks, Brett… I posted a hobo thread a week ago, and now yours is beating the $h1t out of mine :stuck_out_tongue:

I saw this particular illustration when I was looking for reference material. I love Norman Rockwell (prob. my favorite artist of all time), and I’m glad to see someone bringing this particular piece to life, so to speak. I really hope you see it all the way through.

Are you planning to recreate the entire scene, with the dog, the cooking can and all? Hope so… I was going to post the source pic for this in your thread, but thought maybe that was up to you.

I’m going to give this 5 stars already, since you are obviously already off to a great start.

Funny face, i love it
great sculpt

looks really great already :+1: keep it up

WoW this is looking great! The skin has so much weight to it, I love it!

I love Rockwell’s work and this is looking great. Are you planning to do the clothes as well? That would be very interesting to model.

Looking very good.
Dont even think about blurring parts or putting hughe watermarks over the
pictures or even nudity warnings    .

My new, favourite Sinclair model. Love every cheroot smoking, big 'tached, saggy skinned pixol !

dear god!! so realistic , special in the neck part , the wrinkle so amazing. how did you make it man .

Hey Brett, you have great technique. It’s looking really good.

Tyrone M: I just noticed a big mistake. I’ve been spelling LABeouf- LeBeouf! I hope shia doesn’t sue me :o. Well Gio did say he looked like a rockwell kid LOL!

Slosh: Haha. I’m sorry man. I had no idea. Thanks for the kind words though.
I’m not sure how far I’ll go with this. I may do the whole scene. If I have the stamina. Hahaha.

FabioPaiva: haha. Thanks for being honest :D.

ncollings: Yo Nico! Thanks Bud. Your last horn monster came out sweeet :+1:.

sasquatchpoacher: Come on Greg. We know you lying;). haha. Your work is amazing man :+1:

undoz: Hey Andrei. Me too! Yup. Gonna do clothing too. Girl with earphones :+1:. I had to say it again :D.

Disco Stu: Hahahahaha. Well No blurs. The nudity warning is out of my hands. Aurickle has control of that and its understandable. No one wants to walk in here and see an old hobo starkless. It’ll scare even the brave. haha.

piek: Lol! Thanks Pete!

boxing8plus: Hey thanks man. The wrinkles are done using the dam standrd brush that maddam made. After that I use the elastic brush to raise the skin. The elastic brush is a gem. I hope its in z4 along with the dam_standard brush.

Zicarious: Hey Ped, Thanks man. Your stuff is wicked man. I love your style :+1:

Anyway heres some updates. I think the body is done now. Onto the clothing I guess. Haha. Hope you like it.

Cheers,
Brett
