normals to maya

hi!

first of all excuse me please for my question, but i found a lot of different answers to my question,
so i - as an beginner - came up to this forum.

i´m using zbrush 4r4 and maya 2010 64bit.

my workflow:

  • i builded an low-poly-mesh in maya, exported it with goz into zbrush.
  • i refined the mesh and created an uv for this mesh.
  • i used spotlight to texture the mesh.
    everything worked fine…

but then i used the multi map exporter to bring the complete stuff into maya.
everything worked fine again,
except the NORMAL MAP.

now my question to all:
is there an way to see an tutorial or something like that, to get the RIGHT settings
for exporting an normal map into maya?
(i googled a lot, but i cant find the right settings.
i experimented with the"flip r-g-b, smooth, tangent" but with no good result).
