Sooo, my normal maps are completely screwed. They look a bit weird in zmapper right after I make them, but not bad.
Here is whats going on:

I am using Zmapper with the maya tangent space best quality settings. I tried exporting from a higher division level (the 27k one) and it turned out horrible too. I have the normal set on a lambert as tangent space normal to test it and that’s the geometry I get. I’ve been trying to figure this out for awhile now, and still have had no success… this is very frustrating!!
