Normal maps from ZB to Maya questions

Hi there,

Need some help here

I’ve started using Zbrush a few weeks ago… so far, I’ve only used Maya and 3D Max to create games’ characters. I’ve experimented a little bit with Zb, I’ve imported a basemesh, sculpted it and exported the normal maps back into Maya and here is what I get. I’ve used Bump mapping > tangent space and have turned on “high quality rendering” but my normal maps still don’t work, any idea what’s causing this to happen?

In Zb I’ve turned on tangent as well as adaptive. The low res mesh is actually from Zbrush. I’ve also flipped the uvs and then exported the normal maps ( at level 2). The uv’s coordinates were done in Maya as well.

It looks like your texture needs to be flipped vertically.
