Normal mapping and UV issues

I’ve been trying to extract normal maps from some .objs on Zbrush 4 but it seems like when I bring it into Maya 2011 and add the normal map onto my low res model I can see the seams of the UVs. Another Issue I’m having is that I saw on a Digital Tutors tutorial that Zbrush 3.5 can export meshes as .ma files with their normal maps or displacement maps all set up when imported into Maya. This doesn’t seem to work for me. Zbrush is exporting as a “.MA” (a uppercase file extension instead of a lowercase one). Help would be much appreciated.
